Puppy Carrying a Teddy Bear, 101 Dalmatians Coloring Page
Coloring guide
With its eyes happily closed, a spotted Dalmatian puppy trots off to the side, holding a floppy teddy bear by the head in its mouth. The pup wears a wide collar. One big ear is solid black and the other flops back, and black spots dot its body, legs and curved tail. The teddy dangles down with a round muzzle, small ears and stitched patches on its arms and feet, and it has a slightly worn look that makes it seem well loved. There's no background, so the page is clean and easy for little hands. A bright red or sky blue collar suits the puppy, and warm golden brown suits the bear, so the two stand apart. A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- caramel brown
- bright red
- pale cream
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the teddy bear: fill its head, body, raised arm, and both legs with caramel brown, leaving the snout area for later.
- 2Color the dog's collar bright red, using a steady stroke along the curved band.
- 3Fill the teddy bear's snout, ears inner parts, and foot pads with pale cream to give it a soft muzzle and paws.
- 4Add the small details on the teddy bear's ears and the tip of the dog's tail as you go, keeping the dalmatian's white fur, eyes, and ear edges untouched.
- 5Optional: add a slightly darker brown along the edges of the teddy bear for a little shading.
- 6Leave the dog's white patches and the background white so the black spots really pop.
