A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the Grinch's lime green skin on his face, arms, and legs, leaving the eye whites and the white fur on his collar, cuffs, and pants untouched.
- 2Color the Grinch's coat and sweater tie in bright red, then fill the dog's body and snout in caramel orange, keeping the ladder's wood areas in warm tones.
- 3Fill the big Christmas tree in dark green, then add kelly green to the lighter branch tips to create some depth.
- 4Color the tree star in golden yellow, and fill the ornaments with royal blue, bright red, and golden yellow, keeping a few light areas white.
- 5Add the bow in bright red with a chocolate brown shadow, then finish the ladder and ground details with rust brown and tan beige.
