A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the bus body and side panels in bright red, leaving the headlights and grille for later.
- 2Color the sky-facing windshield and the bus stop sign area in light blue, and fill the cloud and puddles with slate gray or light blue as shown.
- 3Paint the umbrella and girl's boots in hot pink, then fill the raincoat and backpack in golden yellow and light pink.
- 4Add the girl's face and driver's face in peach, the hair in chestnut brown, and the driver's cap and shirt in deep blue.
- 5Color the headlights and turn light in pale yellow, and keep the background and eye areas white.
- 6Optional: Add darker shading on the puddles and under the bus with slate gray to make the wet ground look deeper.
