Rainy Window View With Cat and Umbrellas
Coloring guide
A quiet view fills this free printable. A fluffy cat sits on a windowsill with its back to us, looking out at a rainy street. Next to it are a leafy potted plant and a curtain pulled to one side. Outside the glass, rain falls on a wet sidewalk full of puddles and ripples, and three people pass by under open umbrellas. One has a long coat and a shoulder bag, while the other two are drawn farther back in raincoats and boots. A street lamp, bare bushes and buildings with windows fill the background. Soft blues and grays suit the rain and puddles, and a bright yellow or red umbrella helps the walkers stand out from the gloom. The cat's fur gives kids room to practice gentle shading, and it makes a calm rainy afternoon activity. Fans of Umbrella coloring pages often like Forest and Mountain as well.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big background: fill the sky and top window glass with sky blue, and the building walls with sand beige.
- 2Color the curtain on the left and the cat's body with soft yellow and ginger orange, leaving the cat's cream paw and chest areas for a lighter look.
- 3Fill the plant leaves with light green and leaf green, the flower pot with terracotta, and the bushes outside the window with grass green.
- 4Color the street and puddles with slate blue, add royal blue to the child's umbrella and coat, and use red for the big umbrella and pink for the small one.
- 5Finish the wooden window frame and steps with wood brown, and add golden yellow to the girl's raincoat and boots.
- 6Optional: Leave small white raindrops and window highlights uncolored so the rain looks fresh and bright.
