A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the horse body, neck, and legs in burnt orange, leaving the white hooves and bridle lines unpainted.
- 2Color the rider's jacket and sleeves in bright red, and the boots and horse's leg wraps in chocolate brown.
- 3Fill the horse's mane, tail, and forelock with golden yellow, and the rider's face and hands with peach skin.
- 4Paint the bushes and trees in leaf green and lime green, and the grass field in lime green and moss green.
- 5Color the crossed rails in royal blue, keeping the white stripes, posts, and clouds white.
- 6Optional: Add a little caramel brown to the fence and the rider's hair for depth, and use navy blue on the helmet.
