Sandcastle Beach Scene With Umbrella and Beach Ball

A tall sandcastle sits right at the water's edge, with a pointed center tower, two smaller side towers, arched windows, a big arched doorway and a little flag on top. Next to it are a sand bucket with a handle and a small shovel leaning against it. On the right, a large striped beach umbrella tilts over a round beach ball. Shells and a starfish are scattered on the sand in front, with little dots for sand texture. Behind the castle, wavy lines show the ocean, and the sky has a sun with rays, two clouds and a few birds. Since this page is filed under Labor Day, it works well for a long weekend at the beach. Try coloring the umbrella and beach ball panels in alternating colors, then ask kids to count the shapes, such as the castle towers, windows and shells. The free printable is easy to use with crayons, markers or colored pencils.
