Smiling Hard Hat on a Wooden Stool

A cheerful hard hat with a big happy face sits on top of a simple wooden stool. The hat has two large round eyes with small highlights, curved eyebrows, and an open smile. A single star is drawn on the center ridge, and ridged panels run from the front to the back of the dome. Small boxy clips sit on each side of the wide brim. The stool below has a thick top rail with two round bolts, four straight legs, and a crossbar between the front legs. Try coloring the hard hat bright yellow or orange and the star in a contrasting shade, then give the stool wood tones like tan and brown. It is a nice free printable for talking with kids about the workers who wear safety gear and why it matters on Labor Day.
