Harbor Village Stroll With Lighthouse, a Summer Seaside Walk
Coloring guide
A cobblestone seaside promenade passes flower-filled cottages and heads toward a harbor, where three sailboats and a small motorboat float near buoys. In front, a man and a woman in a sun hat walk side by side with a small dog trotting along. Two children lean on a wooden railing to watch the water, and a seagull sits on a post close by. Further down the path, two more walkers head toward the village. Over the water, a tall lighthouse stands on a rocky cliff while seagulls soar through a sky of puffy clouds. There's a lot to enjoy, from tiny roof tiles and window boxes to big open sails and waves. Soft coral and sunny yellow sails look good against deep teal water. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the sky: color the clouds in pale sky blue, leaving the seagulls white.
- 2Fill the sea and the distant water strip with ocean blue, and color the small boat's splash in the same blue.
- 3Color the cliffs and bushes with leaf green and warm gray, then add sandy beige to the cliff rocks and harbor walls.
- 4Paint the cottage walls and shop fronts in cream, and the roof tiles in soft yellow or mustard brown.
- 5Color the cobblestone path and stone walkway in sandy beige and tan, then add the people's clothes: bright blue jacket, bright red shirt, golden yellow top, and coral pink skirt.
- 6Finish with the boats' hulls in bright red and orange red, and keep the sails, lighthouse, seagulls and dog white. Optional: add a little shading to the path stones with warm gray for depth.
