Little Harp Player on a Rock, a Bible Shepherd Boy
Coloring guide
Perched on a big rock, a smiling curly-haired boy with a headband strums a small harp while three fluffy lambs rest in the grass nearby. His simple tunic has a sash at the waist, he wears strappy sandals, and he gazes up and off to the side as he plays. The countryside behind him has gentle rolling hills, a leafy tree, a couple of bushes and a bright sun with long rays, and tufts of grass dot the foreground. Harp strings, curly wool on every lamb and a rocky seat all give kids fun details to color. Soft cream and gray work for the sheep, warm golden yellow for the harp and sun, and earthy browns for the tunic. No sign-up is needed to print or download this free page. Looking for more? - 1Start with the big areas: color the rock in stone gray and the sky background stays white, then fill the hills and grass in lime green and leaf green.
- 2Color the boy's tunic and shirt sleeve in warm cream, leaving them light, and fill the face, neck, arms, and legs with light peach.
- 3Fill the harp frame and its top in ochre orange, and color the headband and shoulder sash in royal blue with a darker brown for the hair.
- 4Color the sun in golden yellow, the tree foliage in leaf green with a tan brown trunk, and the bushes in dark green and leaf green.
- 5Color the sheep's faces and ears in beige and coral pink, and keep their wool white; use dark brown for the sandal straps.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading to the rock and hair with a slightly darker shade, and keep the harp strings and sheep wool white for shine.
