Sail-Backed Dinosaur and Five Friends With Stripes

Six friendly cartoon dinosaurs are spread across the page, each with its own look. At the top left, a long-snouted dinosaur has a tall ridged sail on its back and stripes down its body. Beside it, a smaller two-legged dinosaur with a striped body and curled front hands smiles with its mouth open. In the middle left, a dinosaur with a curved crest on its head has wavy markings along its side. On the right, a plated dinosaur with big oval spots has triangle-shaped back plates and a spiked tail. At the bottom left, a long-necked dinosaur has spots along its back and a tall curving tail. The last one, bottom right, is a stocky armored dinosaur with a round face, plates and a tail club. Try giving each dinosaur its own color pattern, then ask kids to compare the sails, crests, plates and necks. It works well as a free printable for a dinosaur unit.
