Six Fish Around Coral, Advanced Designs Underwater Scene

Coloring guide
Six smiling fish swim nose to nose in a ring around a branching coral bush. Every fish has big round eyes, fins, and a body packed with overlapping scales, so there's a lot of small pattern work to fill in. The coral rests on a few smooth pebbles in the middle, with thin strands of seaweed rising beside it, tall wavy seaweed grows in all four corners, and bubbles of different sizes float across the page. Older kids and teens who like fine detail will enjoy the scales and coral branches, and younger children can join in on the bubbles. Try a rainbow of colors on the fish, shading each row of scales a little differently, and soft pinks or oranges on the coral so it stands out against green seaweed. - 2Color the center coral coral, keeping the small white highlights on the branches.
- 3Fill the fish heads: golden yellow on the top fish, light pink on the right fish, light orange on the bottom fish, mint green on the lower right fish, baby blue on the upper left fish and lemon yellow on the lower left fish, keeping the eye whites white.
- 4Add scale patterns in patches: tangerine orange and light orange on the top and bottom fish, hot pink and violet on the right fish, sky blue on the upper left and lower right fish, and lemon yellow with lime green on the lower left fish.
- 5Color the fins and tails: royal blue on the upper left fish tail, bright red on the bottom fish tail, and golden yellow on the top fish tail and fins.
- 6Optional: add a little shading on the scales with a slightly darker shade of the same color, and fill the bubbles with baby blue.
