Sleepy Tabby Cat Curled Up Beside Big Letter C

A drowsy cat lies curled on the ground in front of a large 3D block letter C. Its head rests on its front paws, its eyes are half closed, and its whiskers stretch out to both sides. The ears are pointed, and the tail wraps around the front of the body. Stripes mark the back and the tail, and short sketchy lines suggest the floor underneath. The letter C has thick, shaded sides that give it a solid, dimensional look. This printable page works well for early readers learning the C sound, since cat starts with C. Ask kids to color the cat in tabby stripes and the letter in a bold color, then name other words that start with C. The big open areas are easy for small hands to fill in.
