Smiling Baby Dinosaur With Frill Next to Palm Trees

A friendly horned dinosaur with a big rounded neck frill stands in profile, smiling with its head tipped down and one wide eye looking out at you. Its long tail curves up behind it, and a wavy line runs along its back and tail to mark a patch of different color. Each of its four sturdy legs ends in rounded toes. Around it you will find a tall palm tree with a scaly trunk, a smaller palm, four tufts of grass, and a nest holding a stack of large eggs on a bumpy mound with small dots. The page is rotated sideways, so turn it before you start. Try coloring the wavy back stripe in a bright shade and the eggs in soft, matching tones, then ask kids to count how many eggs are in the nest. It is a free printable that suits preschoolers and early elementary kids.
