Earth Day Baby Sea Turtle with Fish and Coral

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• forest green
• pale green
• tan brown
• light sand
• pale yellow
• lavender purple
• orange
• bright lime
• pale aqua
• bright yellow
• sky blue
• dark moss green

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Fill the big turtle shell plates and most of the flippers with forest green, leaving the small pale spots on the flippers white.
2. 2Color the turtle head, neck and the top of the body with pale green, and paint the belly plate pale yellow.
3. 3Add the purple coral tubes at the bottom left in lavender purple, the orange coral in orange, and the tall seaweed in forest green.
4. 4Color the fish: sky blue for the small fish, orange and bright yellow stripes for the fish on the left, and red for the small fish at the bottom.
5. 5Fill the sand mounds at the bottom with tan brown and light sand, then color the bubbles pale aqua.
6. 6Optional: Leave the eye shine and the small highlight dots white so the turtle looks bright and cheerful.
