Baby Sea Turtle Swimming Through Summer Waters
Coloring guide
This baby sea turtle glides through the water with big sparkly eyes and an open smile, glancing back over its shoulder. Its shell is made of large rounded sections with a patterned border, and the flippers are covered in small spotted shapes that are fun to fill in. Round bubbles of different sizes float up around it. Near the bottom, a little striped fish swims by wavy seaweed on the left and a branching coral on the right, while a few pebbles rest on the sandy seabed. Small hands will do fine with the big shell panels, and older kids can spend time on the spotted flippers. Soft greens suit the shell, and bright orange makes the fish stand out. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the turtle's shell plates in chocolate brown, leaving the thin white lines between them.
- 2Fill the outer edge of the shell with golden yellow and sunny yellow for a bright border.
- 3Color the head, neck, and flippers in yellow green, then add grass green and leaf green spots, leaving the white dots unfilled.
- 4Color the fish in tangerine orange and apricot orange, with sunny yellow stripes, and leave the eye white with a small black pupil.
- 5Add the seaweed in leaf green, dark green, and sage green, and the coral in coral pink; color the rocks light gray.
- 6Fill the bubbles with sky blue and leave their white shine spots empty. Optional: add a little darker shading under the shell and flippers to make them look rounder.
