Smiling Bee and Flowers with a Big Letter A, Alphabet Page

This page features a big, rounded capital A, and a happy cartoon bee is flying next to its upper right edge. The bee has big sparkly eyes, a wide smile, two curly antennae, a striped body, little legs and two rounded wings. A dashed loop trail behind it shows where it has buzzed. Down at the bottom, three flowers with round centers and layered petals grow from tufts of grass and leaves in front of the letter. Thick outlines and roomy spaces make it a good match for younger kids still building pencil and crayon control, and a gentle start for letter recognition. Golden yellow and black would suit the bee's stripes, with a bright sky blue for the A. It's a free printable that fits preschool alphabet lessons or quiet time at home. Fans of Alphabet coloring pages often like Calendar and Anatomy as well.
