A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the big curling wave behind the surfer with ocean blue, and the smaller wave behind it with pale aqua.
- 2Color the surfer's skin, including chest, arms, legs and knees, with peach skin, leaving the eye whites and smile teeth white.
- 3Paint the surfboard with coral red, then add the golden yellow center stripe running down the board.
- 4Color the palm fronds and the island grass with lime green and leaf green, and the palm trunks and surfer's hair with chestnut brown.
- 5Fill the swim shorts with leaf green, then add yellow green and golden yellow bands and the drawstring in leaf green.
- 6Optional: use sky blue for the water splashes and droplets, and leave the sun, foam curls and sky white for a bright finish.
