Elf Reaching for Leaves in a Holiday Wreath

A cheerful elf sits cross-legged in the middle of a large round wreath, both arms stretched out wide as if reaching for the leaves on either side. He wears a pointed hat with a pom-pom at the tip and a striped band around the brim, plus a collar cut into zigzag points. His face has a small smile, side-glancing eyes, and tufts of hair poking out under the hat. The wreath is made of overlapping pointed leaves with little round berries or buds scattered between them. Lots of leaves means plenty of small spaces, so crayons or fine markers work well. Try coloring the leaves in a few different greens and the berries bright red, then pick a contrasting color for the elf's outfit so he stands out in the center. This printable page is a nice quiet activity for a December afternoon.
