Climbing Ladybug on a Tall Blade of Grass

Coloring guide
In this sweet outline drawing, a ladybug crawls up a tall blade of grass with its big round eye and little smile pointed at the sky. The oval shell has five large round spots in different sizes, and two curly antennae with round tips bob over its head. Three bendy legs grip the grass as it climbs. More grass blades of different heights fill the bottom of the page, and a simple sun with short rays shines in the upper left corner. Thick lines and big open spaces make it a good match for preschoolers and early elementary kids with crayons or chunky markers. Red for the shell, black for the spots and a bright yellow sun is one way to go, with several greens in the grass. Grab the free PDF for classroom time or a rainy day. - 3Fill all the round spots on the wing, plus the spots along the wing edge, with charcoal black.
- 4Color the legs, the neck joint, and the antenna tips with dark gray, keeping the antenna tips red as in the example.
- 5Leave the eye whites and the small highlight on the neck white, and keep the background white.
