Smiling Number 6 With Seashells Along the Side

Coloring guide
A big, round number 6 with a happy face takes up most of the page. It has two large eyes with shiny pupils, little curved eyebrows, and an open smiling mouth near the top curl of the number. Down the right side, six seashells are lined up in a column. They alternate between fan-shaped scallop shells with ridged lines and spiral shells with a pointed top. Counting the shells is a nice built-in activity, since there are exactly six of them to match the number. Kids could color each shell a different shade and say the count out loud as they go. The wide, open outlines are easy for small hands, which makes this a good printable for preschool and kindergarten number practice.
