Seashells and Starfish on a Sandy Beach
Coloring guide
Four cheerful sea creatures with big sparkly eyes and little smiles share a patch of sand. A round spiral snail-style shell sits at the top left with a ridged scallop shell next to it. Below on the left is a pointed cone shell with an open mouth, and on the bottom right a five-armed starfish has dotted arms. Pebbles and tiny specks of sand are scattered around, with wavy sand lines under each shell. Bold, clean outlines and large shapes make coloring inside easy for little hands, and the spiral and ridges add detail for older kids. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the big nautilus shell in tangerine orange, then fill its inner spiral and left side sections with golden yellow.
- 2Fill the scallop shell body with light lavender, add medium purple to the ribbed edges, and color the bottom base violet purple.
- 3Color the conch shell body in baby pink, its inner opening in rose red, and the top spire in peach and pale cream, leaving the white background gaps untouched.
- 4Fill the starfish with bright yellow, add a tangerine orange spot on its top arm, and leave the small white dots on the arms white.
- 5Color the sandy patch in sandy tan and the pebbles in slate blue.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading along the edges of the shells and the nautilus spiral for depth.
