Snowman Waving in Top Hat and Scarf for Winter

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• cherry red
• charcoal gray
• chocolate brown
• sky blue
• carrot orange
• pale ice blue

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Color the top hat and its brim charcoal gray, then fill the hat band with cherry red.
2. 2Use cherry red for the long scarf, its wrap around the neck, the fringe at the bottom and the three round buttons.
3. 3Color the two bare arms chocolate brown, keeping the snowman's head and body white.
4. 4Fill the carrot nose with carrot orange, adding a few small lines for texture if you like.
5. 5Color the snowflakes and small dots sky blue, and add pale ice blue to the inner accents while leaving the white centers of the snowflakes unfilled.
6. 6Optional: Add a little shading on the scarf and hat with a darker shade of the same color to make them look more rounded.
