Witch on a Broomstick Over the Village, a Descendants Page
Coloring guide
Across the night sky swoops a cheerful young witch with long, wavy hair, riding her broomstick. She has a big pointed hat, a hooded cloak with a flowing cape trailing behind, a knee-length dress and lace-up boots, and her broom has a thick bundle of bristles streaming out. A crescent moon, scattered stars of different sizes and three small birds in flight surround her. Down below sits a sleepy village with tiled rooftops, chimneys, little windows, a church steeple and puffy clouds on the horizon. Deep purple for the hat and cape and golden yellow for the moon and stars will make the night glow. Younger children can tackle the large shapes, and the roof tiles and wavy hair give older kids more to do. A free printable with plenty to color. - 2Fill the face and hands with peach skin, keeping the eyes and smile white.
- 3Color the pointed witch hat and the flowing cloak in royal purple, and use lavender purple on the hat brim.
- 4Paint the broom bristles in honey yellow, the handle in chestnut brown, and the legs in burnt orange and chestnut brown, with charcoal gray boots.
- 5Add the village rooftops in tomato red, the house walls in peach skin and tan, the trees in forest green and grass green, and the birds in sky blue, leaving the moon and sky white.
- 6Optional: add a darker touch of dark plum in the cloak folds for depth.
