With big round eyes and a wide smile, this snowplow truck shoves a heap of fluffy snow ahead of its curved front blade. The dump bed behind the cab is piled high with snow, and two small lights sit on the roof. Chunky tires, round headlights and a grille add more shapes to color. Snow-covered fir trees stand at the right, snowflakes and little dots of falling snow fill the sky, and a road with dashed edges runs down the left side. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big plow blade: color the red stripes and top bar bright red, and leave the white center panel of the blade empty.
- 2Fill the truck body and hood with orange, then color the windshield sky blue and the door frame burnt orange.
- 3Color the dump bed and its sides golden yellow, leaving the snow heap on top of the bed white.
- 4Use dark gray for the tires, mirrors and wheel guards, then add charcoal black tread details to the tires.
- 5Color the pine trees forest green and the road and snow banks ice blue, keeping the tree tops and snow highlights white.
- 6Finish with the lights: make the roof lights lemon yellow, the headlights ice blue, the smile coral pink, and the grille light gray. Optional: add a slightly darker shade of blue to the road edges for depth.
