Winter Log Cabin with Wreath, Snowman and Bunny
Coloring guide
Deep in a snowy forest sits a cozy log cabin with thick snow on the roof and a stone chimney sending up a curling line of smoke. The wooden front door has a round wreath with a big bow, and a small lantern hangs above it beneath a snow-covered porch roof. Stepping stones wind up to the entrance. Out front, a smiling snowman in a knit hat and scarf stands by some snowy bushes, and a little rabbit sits next to a wooden fence. Tall evergreens and faraway mountains fill the background. Log ends, shingles and snowdrifts add plenty of texture to work on. Warm browns for the logs and a bright red bow make the door stand out against icy blues. Save the free PDF for a rainy day. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the mountain peaks and the distant mountains with sky blue, then fill the small clouds and the sky patches with light blue.
- 2Add forest green to the two small evergreen trees peeking out between the mountains and the cabin, and leave the snowy pine trees white.
- 3Fill the log walls, upper gable and window frames with warm brown, working around the snow-covered roof and window ledges, which stay white.
- 4Color the bunny, the fence rails and the door step with caramel orange, and give the wreath and door a warm brown tone.
- 5Fill the stepping stones on the path with cool gray, then color the snowman's scarf bright red and leave the snow and hat white.
