Soapy Bus Wash With Kids, Driver and Bubbles
Coloring guide
Here a bus with a smiling face, round eyes and a big grille is getting a good soapy scrub. A man in a driver's cap wipes the windshield with a sponge, and a girl with a ponytail scrubs the side. A little boy kneels next to a bucket of suds, sponge in hand. Another boy in a cap sprays a hose, and the water splashes across the front of the bus. Bubbles of every size float around, foam sits on the roof and wipers, and puddles spread over the ground. A fence and a leafy bush are drawn in the background. For a sunny, splashy look, color the bus bright yellow, the water and bubbles light blue and purple, and the sponges warm orange. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the bus body and roof in golden yellow, leaving the two round headlight eye whites and the soap foam on the windshield white.
- 2Color the windshields and the puddles on the ground in light blue, and the splashing water and bubbles in pale blue.
- 3Fill the bumper and lower grille areas in light gray and dark gray, then add the red smile and the orange headlamps.
- 4Paint the people next: peach skin for faces and hands, green for the boy's top, red for the other boy's shirt, coral pink for the girl's top, tan for the shorts, and medium blue for the driver's uniform.
- 5Color the bucket in sky blue, the hair in chocolate brown, and the hat in bright blue, keeping the bucket foam and the sponge foam white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading under the bus and along the hose to give the scene more depth.
