Standing Raccoon Meets a Butterfly

Coloring guide
Up on its hind legs, a young raccoon keeps one paw near its chest and reaches the other up to a butterfly resting on its fingertip. It has big shiny eyes, a smiling face, a bold mask pattern, pointed ears and a fluffy striped tail curling behind. Tall blades of grass frame both sides of the page, with a daisy-style flower at the lower left, another flower at the lower right and a small bud stalk beside it. The butterfly has patterned wings and curly antennae. Wide, open shapes work for preschoolers and early elementary kids, and the fur and tail stripes give older children more to do. Soft gray and charcoal suit the mask and tail rings, and an orange or purple butterfly will pop against the green grass. Print or download it free for school or a weekend craft. Looking for more?
