Wolf With Shaggy Cheeks Gazing Back at You

Wolf With Shaggy Cheeks Gazing Back at You coloring page

Coloring guide

A single wolf stands in side view on a plain white background, with its head turned to look straight out at you. The thick fur around the cheeks and neck is drawn with short, jagged lines, and the pointed ears stand upright with dark inner shading. The long snout ends in a small nose, and the eyes have a narrow, watchful look. Short hatch marks across the back, shoulder and belly show where the fur is thicker. The bushy tail hangs down behind the hind legs, and all four paws are drawn with visible toes. There is no scenery, so kids can choose their own colors. Try gray, brown and cream pencils, and use light strokes that follow the fur lines to make the coat look fluffy. This free page also works well for a short lesson on wolf features, like ears, snout and tail.
