Four-Legged Wolf Glancing Sideways With Shaggy Cheeks

Four-Legged Wolf Glancing Sideways With Shaggy Cheeks coloring sheet

Coloring guide

A single wolf stands on all four legs with its head turned to look off to the side, ears pointed up and a dark nose at the tip of its long snout. Shaggy fur is drawn in jagged lines around the cheeks, neck and chest, and the bushy tail hangs down with a tufted patch near the tip. Behind the wolf, spiky-edged leafy bushes fill the top and lower background, and a winding path or stream curves across the ground near its paws. Each paw shows separate toes, which makes them fun to color in. Try gray, brown and cream crayons for the fur, using short strokes along the jagged edges so the coat looks fluffy. Then pick greens for the bushes and a soft tan or blue for the winding ground. This page is also a good starting point for talking about how wolves use their ears and eyes to stay alert.
