Stocky Przewalski Horse Standing in Grassy Field

Coloring guide
A sturdy horse stands in profile facing right, its head turned slightly and its ears pointing up. The mane is short and upright, standing straight along the neck like a brush, and the long tail hangs down at the back. The body is drawn with fine dotted shading, and the legs show a few lines near the knees where the coat color seems to change. Behind the horse, rolling hills fade into the distance, with a flat plain in between. Tufts of grass and a darker patch of tall grass fill the ground near its hooves. Try coloring the horse in sandy tan with a darker mane and tail, then use soft greens and browns for the plain so the hills look far away. It is also a nice chance to talk about wild horses and where they live. You can print it free for home or classroom use.
