The Mean One's Snowy Door and Go Away Signs

A round-topped wooden door sits in the middle of a snow-covered rocky hillside, and it clearly does not want visitors. A sign on the left reads The Mean One, a second sign on the right says Go Away!, and the doormat in front is lettered Unwelcome. The door has a small round window with crossed bars and a curly handle on the right. Thick piles of snow sit on the rocks above and around the entrance, and the signs have snow on top too. No character appears in the scene, only the grumpy entrance. For coloring, try warm browns and grays for the wood and stone, then leave the snow white or add pale blue shading. The three signs are good for lettering practice, so kids can color each word in a different bold color. This free printable also works well for talking about welcoming and unwelcoming messages.
