Skiing Kids Racing Down a Mountain Slope
Coloring guide
Two smiling kids in helmets and goggles zoom down a snowy slope. The boy up front leans forward with a big grin and a ski pole in each hand. Right behind him comes a girl with a flowing ponytail, also smiling and holding her poles. Both are dressed in puffy jackets, ski pants, gloves and ski boots clipped into their skis, and little swirls and dots of kicked-up snow trail behind them. Three pointed mountains rise in the background behind snow-dusted pines on both sides, and two puffy clouds float overhead. Jackets and pants leave lots of space for color, so red and blue outfits will make the skiers stand out on the pale snow. It's a free PDF, and you may want a few extra copies saved. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the mountains and sky: color the big mountain peaks and background hills in sky blue, and leave the snowy caps white.
- 2Color the pine trees in forest green, leaving the snow on their branches white.
- 3Fill the boy's jacket and the sleeves in bright red, and his pants in bright blue.
- 4Color the boy's helmet and goggles in sky blue, and his face in skin peach, leaving the eye whites and goggle shine white.
- 5Use hot pink for the girl's pants and rose pink for her helmet, then add orchid purple to her jacket and plum purple to her ear and goggle strap.
- 6Finish the skis in bright red for the boy and orchid purple for the girl, color the boots light gray, and add chestnut brown hair. Optional: add a little darker shade to the jacket folds for depth.
