Two Wrestling Pups to Color in Our Wolves Collection
Coloring guide
One fluffy pup stands over its sibling with a paw on its chest, while the one underneath flops onto its back, grinning with its mouth wide open. Both have pointed ears, round shiny eyes and thick fur, and the pup on top has a big bushy tail curling up behind. They're playing on a grassy patch dotted with tufts of grass, with a few simple flowers in the bottom left and right corners and a small cut log in the lower right. Large shapes and bold lines make this an easy free printable for preschoolers and early elementary kids, and the fur tufts keep older kids busy. You could use soft grays and blue-grays for the pups, pink or yellow for the petals, and warm brown for the log, including the ring pattern on its end. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the gray pup's head, body, arms and back leg with light gray, leaving the eye whites and the bright shine spots white.
- 2Fill the brown pup's head, big leg, front paws and top paw with orange brown, keeping its eye whites and cheek highlight white.
- 3Use cream white for the gray pup's fluffy tail, chest and muzzle, and for the brown pup's belly and tail.
- 4Color the inner ears soft pink and the open mouths coral pink, then fill the grass tufts and leaves with light green and forest green.
- 5Color the log chocolate brown and add golden yellow to the flower centers, leaving the petals and background white.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of the same colors along the fur edges to give the pups a bit more depth.
