Upside-Down Tumbling T. Rex With Wide Open Mouth

Coloring guide
A cartoon theropod dinosaur is caught mid-tumble, flipped almost upside down with its head at the lower left and its long curved tail swinging up toward the top of the page. Its mouth is wide open with rows of pointy teeth showing, and one wide eye gives it a surprised look. Small bumps run along its back and neck, and a few dots are scattered over the head, body and tail. The belly has curved stripe lines, and both small arms and both bent legs have sharp claws. The outlines are bold and the spaces are fairly large, so it works well for younger kids with crayons. Try coloring the belly stripes in a lighter shade than the back, then talk about why some animals have two-tone bodies. A free printable like this is a fun warm-up before a dinosaur lesson.
