Tongue-Out Wolf Walking Across a Grassy Hillside

Coloring guide
A lone wolf walks across a grassy hillside with its head low and its tongue hanging out of its open mouth. The fur is drawn with short, sketchy lines along the neck, chest, and back, and the bushy tail hangs down behind it. One front paw is stretched forward while the other legs are mid-step. Around the wolf you will find small tufts of grass, a few pebbles, and two dandelion puffs near the bottom right, along with some broad leaves. Soft rounded bushes and rolling hills fill the background. This page is free to print and works well for a lesson on wild animals. Try gray, brown, and cream pencils for the fur, using short strokes that follow the lines so the coat looks shaggy. Then add soft greens to the hills and a pale yellow or white for the dandelions.
