Watering Flowers with a Calico Critters Kitten
Coloring guide
In a garden, a smiling kitten with big round eyes and a striped forehead tips a watering can so drops fall on the flowers below, one paw raised in the air. The kitten wears overalls with buttoned straps and a patch pocket on the leg. Two sunflowers with textured centers grow on the right, and three tulips on leafy stems stand in the lower left. A wooden picket fence and rounded bushes fill the background. Wide petals, large leaves and simple outlines suit small hands, and the fence and bushes give older kids a bit more to work on. Bright yellow petals with brown centers look great on the sunflowers, the tulips can be pink or red, and denim blue works for the overalls. It's a free printable that fits a spring activity at home or in class. Looking for more? Our Baby Shark and Pokémon coloring pages pair nicely with this Calico Critters page.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the bushes, grass, and all the leaves with leaf green, leaving the tulip stems and sunflower stems as clean lines.
- 2Color the cat's fur on the head, cheeks, and tail with tangerine orange and apricot, and fill the inside of both ears with rose pink.
- 3Use denim blue for the overalls, including the pocket and straps, and sky blue for the shirt sleeves and top.
- 4Color the watering can bright red and the sunflower petals golden yellow, then fill the sunflower centers with chocolate brown.
- 5Fill the paws and feet with cream, and color the fence with tan wood and light sand, leaving the fence gaps white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading on the tulips and leaves with the same colors for a bit more depth.
