Winter Raccoon and Snowman Friends

Coloring guide
Standing upright in a knit pom-pom hat and a chunky patterned scarf, a smiling raccoon rests one arm around a little snowman beside it. The snowman has its own pom-pom hat and striped scarf, plus a carrot nose, a happy face, stick arms and a few round buttons down its belly. Two snow-covered evergreens stand behind them under a sky full of snowflakes and falling dots of snow, and small snowy mounds curve across the ground. The raccoon's big banded tail, whiskers and mask markings add plenty of detail to color. Red and white hats and scarves would make the two friends match, and soft grays suit the tail. This free printable suits preschoolers and early elementary kids, with big open spaces and smaller knit patterns for practicing control. Love this Raccoon coloring page? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the raccoon's fluffy orange body, tail, arms and legs in orange, leaving the white tail tip and cream belly and paws uncolored.
- 2Color the raccoon's ears and face area: pink inner ears, a light pink mouth, and cream muzzle, keeping the eye whites white.
- 3Fill the Christmas tree trunks and branches in forest green, and leave the snowy tops and snow ground white.
- 4Color the raccoon's scarf and the knitted hat in bright red, then add royal blue and pale blue stripes across the hat.
- 5Give the snowman a royal blue hat and scarf, an orange carrot nose and a charcoal button, and keep his body white.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading with a darker orange on the underside of the tail to make the fur look fuller.
