Sunrise Cliff Lookout: A Wolves Coloring Sheet
Coloring guide
A fluffy wolf stands tall on a rocky ledge with its head turned to the right, looking out over a wide valley. A winding river curls through pine forests below, and layered mountain peaks rise behind. A big sun with long rays peeks over the mountains while puffy clouds fill the sky. Three birds fly in the upper left, and a tall evergreen frames the left edge. Near the cliff in the foreground you'll find leafy bushes and a small grassy plant. The wolf's thick, shaggy fur offers plenty of detail for patient colorers. Soft grays, whites and a touch of tan suit the fur, and warm yellow and orange around the sun will make it glow. Print or download this free page for a classroom project or a weekend craft. - 2Color the wolf's back, tail and the patch on its forehead with light gray, and the cliff rocks in the same gray.
- 3Color the sun golden yellow, then fill the clouds with pale blue and sky blue, keeping the sky and sun rays white.
- 4Add sky blue and deep blue to the mountains and river blue to the winding river.
- 5Fill the pine trees and hillsides with forest green, grass green and teal green, then color the bushes in the bottom corners grass green.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading on the wolf's gray fur and the rock edges to make them look more three-dimensional.
