Strawberries, Blackberries and Blueberries in a Fruit Basket

Berries are piled high in a round woven basket with a tall arched handle, and a few more sit on the ground in front. Inside are three big strawberries with leafy green tops and little seed dots, two bumpy blackberries or raspberries and several round blueberries, each with a tiny star-shaped blossom end. Pointed leaves with center veins tuck in between the fruit. At the base of the basket, one more strawberry, a berry cluster, a blueberry and a couple of leaves are scattered on the ground. The brick-like weave of the basket makes a neat pattern to fill in. Thick, clean outlines suit preschoolers and early elementary kids with crayons or markers. Red strawberries, deep purple blueberries and tan or golden brown for the basket make a nice mix. A free printable for a classroom project or weekend craft.
