Young Wolf Standing on a Rocky Grassy Hill
Coloring guide
A lean wolf stands on a flat rock in the foreground, body turned to the side while its head looks straight out at you. The ears are pointed and upright, the eyes are detailed, and the nose is dark and rounded. Short strokes mark the fur along the neck, chest, back, and tail, which hangs down behind the legs. One front paw rests on the rock with the claws showing. Tufts of grass grow around the stones, and rounded hills and bumpy clouds fill the background. This printable page gives you plenty of room to practice fur texture. Try layering grays, tans, and soft browns with short pencil strokes that follow the lines, then add greens and golden yellows to the grass and hills.
