Angled Watermelon Wedge with Solid Black Seeds

Coloring guide
A single triangular slice of watermelon is shown at a slight angle, so you can see the flat cut face and the thick side of the wedge. Nine teardrop-shaped seeds are scattered across the front in solid black, and three more oval seeds appear along the side edge. A curved band of rind runs along the bottom, outlined with clean, bold lines that are easy for small hands to follow. The large open areas make this a good fit for younger kids who are still building control with crayons. Try coloring the flesh in red or pink, then use two shades of green for the rind to show the lighter inner band and darker skin. It also works well for a quick lesson on summer snacks or on where seeds are found inside fruit. Print as many copies as you need.
