Autumn Maple Leaves Falling on a Strolling Hedgehog

Maple leaves drift down all around a smiling hedgehog as it strolls to the right, head turned and tiny black nose lifted. Four big leaves have stuck in the spiky fur on its back, while more tumble through the air and settle near its paws. A few little motion lines next to the top-left leaf show it fluttering down. The hedgehog has a round ear, big shiny eyes, a cheerful curved smile and four small feet with rounded toes. All those scratchy fur strokes add lots of texture, and the large leaf shapes are easy to fill. Think oranges, reds and golden yellows for the leaves, soft brown for the body and a light tan face. The PDF is free to print, so make a few extra copies. This fits right in with our Hedgehog coloring pages — see also Pig and Sheep.
