Birthday Party Cat With Cake and Balloons

Coloring guide
This kitten is all set for a party. It wears a striped party hat and grins from a round polka-dot table, with a big layered birthday cake right in front. The cake has drippy icing, a row of little dots around the base, and five spiral-striped candles on top. A wooden chair stands behind the cat, a window sits on the right, and three large balloons with shiny highlights float nearby while curly streamers twist through the air. Look closely at the cat and you'll see big sparkly eyes, long whiskers, forehead stripes, and a striped tail curling up beside the chair. There are tiny dots to fill and bigger balloon shapes too, so it suits a range of ages. Rainbow shades would look great on the hat and balloons, and a warm orange tabby coat will pop against all of it. It's a free printable. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the cat's face, body, ears and tail in warm orange, leaving the eye whites, cheek highlights and fangs white.
- 2Color the big left balloon leaf green, the small left balloon bright red, and the right balloon golden yellow, keeping the shiny highlights white.
- 3Fill the cake's icing in rose pink and the middle band in golden yellow, then color the bottom band chocolate brown and leave the plate white.
- 4Color the party hat in sky blue and bright blue stripes, with the golden yellow pom-pom on top.
- 5Add the five candles in light blue, lavender purple and leaf green, with the flames in watermelon pink.
- 6Finish the chairs and window in wood brown, add pale blue window glass, and scatter colorful polka dots across the table. Optional: add a little shading along the cat's edges for depth.
