Bouquet of Love With Tulips, Roses and a Bow

Coloring guide
A tied bouquet fills the page, with five tulips and three layered roses packed together in the middle. Three tulips line the top while two sit lower down on the sides. The roses have spiral centers and ruffled petals, which makes them a good challenge for kids who enjoy small details. Pointed leaves and a few leafy sprigs poke out on both sides. At the bottom, a big ribbon bow holds the stems together and two long ribbon tails hang below. Small outlined hearts drift around the edges. Younger kids can handle the wide tulip petals and big leaves, while older kids can take their time with the roses. Soft pink and red look lovely on the roses, yellow or purple on the tulips, and any bright color on the bow. This free printable would turn into a sweet handmade card or gift for someone special. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the bow: color both big loops, the two tails and the small knot in the middle with sky blue, leaving the thin lines as they are.
- 2Fill the three roses in rose red, leaving the small swirl centers white, then add the red tulips at the left and right edges.
- 3Color the top tulip soft pink, the yellow tulip on the right golden yellow, and the purple tulip on the left lavender purple, keeping the tiny tips and highlights white.
- 4Paint the leaves and stems in leaf green, using lime green and pale green for the lighter stems and small buds near the bottom of the bouquet.
- 5Color the four small hearts hot pink, then leave the background white. Optional: add a darker shade of rose red on the lower edges of the roses for depth.
