Bubble-Blowing Hedgehog Among Flowers
Coloring guide
Sitting on a patch of grass, a little hedgehog puffs out its cheeks and blows a stream of soap bubbles through a wand held up in one paw. The other paw holds a small jar of bubble solution. Seven round bubbles of different sizes float overhead, each with a little curved shine mark that's fun to color. Spiky fur frames the face and covers the back, and big round eyes and a tiny nose give it a sweet look. A daisy-style flower with leaves sits on each side, and a smaller flower and a few grass tufts fill the bottom corner. Bold, clear lines make this free printable a good fit for preschoolers and early elementary kids. Soft browns work for the quills, and pale blue or lilac lets the shine marks stand out on the bubbles. Add this to your Hedgehog coloring page collection, alongside Puppies and Cats.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the hedgehog's spiky back and the stem-like grass details in chocolate brown, working outward from the body to the edges of the spines.
- 2Fill the hedgehog's face, body, chest, paws and feet with warm beige, leaving the eye whites and the small shine on the arm white.
- 3Color the big, middle and small bubbles light blue, and the bubble jar bright blue, leaving the shiny highlights on the bubbles white.
- 4Paint the pink flower petals soft pink and the purple flower petals lavender purple, then fill the flower centers with golden yellow.
- 5Color the leaves and grass tufts grass green, keeping the little flowers at the bottom right mostly white with yellow centers.
- 6Optional: add a slightly darker stroke of chocolate brown along the hedgehog's spines or light blue along the bubble edges for extra depth.
