Cartoon Mummy Made of Simple Circles and Ovals

Coloring guide
Six small drawings are arranged in two columns and show how a friendly cartoon mummy is built from simple shapes. The first step is a circle for the head with an oval body overlapping it. Next come two long ovals for the arms and two narrow ovals for the legs. After that the mummy gets two dot eyes, little round hands and flat oval feet. Step four joins everything into one smooth outline and adds a loose strip of bandage hanging from one arm. In step five, crisscross bandage wraps cover the head, body, arms and feet. The last step shows the same mummy with light gray shading and a darker band across the forehead. Try coloring the final drawing with tan or cream bandages, then draw your own mummy beside it using only the first shapes. This free printable works well for a Halloween art lesson.
