Friendly Cartoon Ghost Made From Two Stacked Circles

Coloring guide
Six small drawings show a smiling ghost taking shape, one step at a time. It starts with two plain circles stacked for the head and body, plus two rectangles for arms. Next come a small triangle on top of the head and a cone shape at the bottom. Then the face gets round eyes and an open smiling mouth, and the hands get little fingers. In the later steps the lines smooth out into a teardrop head with a curly tip, eyebrows, pupils with tiny highlights, and a curved tail on the right. The final ghost is filled with light gray and has a darker gray mouth. Try following along with a pencil first, then color the last ghost in pale blue or lavender and give the mouth a bright pink. It also works well for talking about how simple shapes build a character.
