Easy Sitting Cat Built From Simple Shapes

Coloring guide
Six small drawings show how a sitting cat is built from simple shapes. The first box holds a plain oval for the head. Next come two pointed ears and a long pear-shaped body underneath. After that, front legs with little toes are added at the bottom. Then the face appears with two dot eyes, a small triangle nose, a smiling mouth and whiskers on both cheeks. A curved tail rises up on the left side of the body. The last box shows the finished cat shaded in gray, so kids can see a possible color choice. This free printable works well for a beginner drawing lesson. Let children copy one step at a time with a pencil, then color their own cat in gray, orange or any pattern they like, such as stripes or spots.
