Castle Garden Scene with a Fanned-Out Peacock

A smiling peacock faces forward on a grassy lawn, its huge tail spread out behind it like a round fan. Every feather has an eye-shaped pattern with lots of layers to fill in. The bird also has a little crest of circles on its head and scalloped feathers on its chest and wing. Behind it stands a fairy-tale castle with a central gate, tall towers with pointed roofs and small flags, and crenellated walls. Curving paths, rounded bushes, tall trees and puffy outlined clouds fill the background, and flowers and grass tufts decorate the front. Turquoise and emerald green on the tail with gold in the eye centers would make the peacock pop against a soft gray-and-pink castle. Older kids who love detail will enjoy this free printable, and younger ones can start with the big clouds and flowers. This fits right in with our Peacock coloring pages — see also Puppies and Cats.
