Cat Lapping Water From a Round Bowl

Coloring guide
Here's a curious little kitten bending over a big round bowl, pink tongue dipped in the water and ripples spreading out. Wide eyes, long whiskers and fluffy cheek fur make it look sweet, and the striped tail curls up behind. Droplets splash up on both sides of the bowl and small puddles dot the tiled floor, so it's clearly a messy drink. The outlines are thick and clean, which helps small hands, and the large shapes leave lots of room for crayons or markers. A ginger kitten with darker stripes on the head and tail looks nice here, and light blue works well for the water, splashes and puddles against the floor tiles. Print it free for a calm, creative break. Love this Cats coloring page? You might also enjoy our Farm Animals and Tiger coloring pages.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the cat's head, back and most of the tail with golden orange, leaving the very tip of the tail in burnt orange.
- 2Color the round bowl and its rim with sky blue, leaving the water surface white.
- 3Fill the floor tiles with pale blue, keeping the puddles and water splashes white.
- 4Add soft pink to the inside of both ears, the nose and the tongue, then color the muzzle cream.
- 5Leave the eye whites and the small shine spots white so the cat looks bright and lively.
- 6Optional: add a slightly darker orange along the belly and under the tail for a bit of shading.
